What’s your process like?
She Does Podcast did an excellent interview with me, which provides a nice overview of the way I work. I also recommend my interview on How Sound, Midd Moment, and Tape Radio. I've written about my process at The New York Times here and here. Lastly, I've written about my process making Two Years With Franz, making the Scared is scared and making Holy Cow Lisa.

I’m an aspiring radio/multimedia storyteller — where do I begin?
The website Transom.org is an excellent resource for starting out in radio and taught me a lot of what I know now about making radio. In particular, the Transom Manifestos of Alex Blumberg, Nancy Updike, Jad Abumrad, Ira Glass, and Jonathan Harris have helped me technically and emotionally.
Additionally, their intensive eight-week course, the Transom Story Workshop, is the Harvard of storytelling. It will give you the greatest teachers and support.
Jessica Able’s book Out On The Wire is also a helpful guide.
